BUILDING ASSISTANCE

For those with limited ship building experience and for those who wish to ‘do their own thing’ and not be restricted by too many detailed comments, these notes should prove useful.

For those experienced ship builders, the notes provided also have a number of hyperlinks that will take you to ADVANCED NOTES with a considerable wealth of detail that shows how components can be modified to further improve your build.  These comments come from one builder but in no way should be taken as totally prescriptive – your choice and your interpretation will always create a unique model that can only be yours.

This is a series of seven completed units that are evolving from another link ‘Work in Progress’ that describe how one kit builder approached construction of the Royal William and Friedrich Wilhelm zy Pferde.
