   Instruction Manual Work in Progress

In the context of our restructuring plan, Euromodel is creating a more complete understanding of the assembly process through a step-by-step instruction for our kits.

Thanks to the gentle and assiduous collaboration with Peter Coward, an Australian modeller, we are creating the instructions, with detailed explanations and photos, for our kits. We believe that rather than rely on instructions based on our own experience and attempting to pass over various problems arising in the assembly of our kits, it is preferable to utilise an external modeller with no commercial connection to our company. In this way, his criticisms and identification of errors collectively enable new instructions to be generated on a step-by-step basis. This method allows us to make amendments and corrections that otherwise would not be recorded. Instructions are not complete but Euromodel wishes to publish on-line this ‘Work in progress’ that will enable many modellers, even if not totally expert, to assemble our kits.

There is a link called  'Work in Progress’ where text and photographs are being added as the actual ships are being built. We are providing a NEW SET OF COMMENTS AND PHOTOGRAPHS for six of our kits as well as translations from Italian to English
for all our plans.  This applies to the
La Renommée, Falmouth, Royal William, Friedrich Wilhelm Zu Pferde, Mordaunt and Ajax.

For those with limited ship building experience and for those who wish to ‘do their own thing’ and not be restricted by too many detailed comments, these notes should prove useful.

For those experienced ship builders, the notes provided also have a number of hyperlinks that will take you to
ADVANCED NOTES with a considerable wealth of detail that shows how components  can be modified to further improve your build.  These comments come from one builder but in no way should be taken as totally prescriptive – your choice and your interpretation will always create a unique model that can only be yours
.

On the left you can find links to the instructions that are currently up to date. These instructions will constantly be updated until the drafting of the final version, when they will be included in all kits in electronic version as a DVD.
