     LYDE
English Shooner

Every Euromodel kit is based on a detailed set of drawings which you can choose to follow at different levels of complexity – how far you do this is up to you. To assist your progress, these ‘Interpretive Information’ files are included.

They are a set of
non-prescriptive files (which are being continually added to) produced by one builder who like so many before him has interpreted the files in his own particular manner. Many photographs are included as a possible guide to what could be done and most constructional steps present two possible alternative approaches for you to consider.

These kits will be built by many persons who will have different levels of expertise in ship building and who will interpret the drawings in their own way. It is for this reason that Euromodel does not produce a unique set of instructions for all to follow.

However, we hope that you enjoy reading the interpretive files and utilise them to stimulate your own way of approaching this construction.

Don’t hesitate to contact us for any assistance.

Euromodel trusts that these recent innovations will prove invaluable to our customers.

Happy Building !

Keva Lloyd
Thursday 02 Jul 2020
I'm just about to start construction of this lovely schooner .... you can see by my surname why! In the early parish registers of Huntspill, Somerset, where my ancestors originated, "Lloyd" was often spelt "Lyde"! Anyway, these files by Peter Coward will be absolute GOLD to me as I have never embarked on such a small scale project! But I'll get there. Thankyou Peter!!
